Considering the energy and joy found in each of Gabriel’s Performance, imagine the uplifting experience of 10 days on the road with the band. This was a first-class tour of Perú including entertainment, spectacular scenery, music, and the best cuisine in the New World. Tour Perú happened in conjunction with Gabriel’s concerts amidst the joy and laughter of Afro-Peruvian music. We even did a little zapateo dancing with Huevito and nightly Afro-Peruvian drum circles.
Tour Perú took place from July 31st through August 10th, 2008. The tour included three nights in Lima, four nights in the Highlands of the Andes (Cusco, Macchu Picchu and the Sacred Valley), and two nights in the Coastal Reserve of Paracas.
